G-LEAA Remarks: Performing the first charter of a
VLJ into Gloucester today was Cessna 510 Mustang G-LEAA.
Operated by London Executive Aviation, who were the first
operator in Europe to introduce the Mustang and who have 10
on order.
05-Apr-08 The Heineken Cup match between Gloucester RFC and
Munster brought in several rugby charters including a number
of Aer Arran ATR-72s. More than 500 passengers passed
through the airport today making it ne of the busiest days
on record. Unfortunately Gloucester lost the rugby
match!

11-Mar-08 The Cheltenham Gold Cup Festival brought many visiting
aircraft to Gloucestershire Airport. Bringing in
punters from Cork on the first day of the meet was this Scot
Airways Dornier 328.

23-Feb-08 Today saw the very first visit of a VLJ - a Very Light Jet. The Cessna 510 Mustang is
the first of the new generation of VLJ to achieve full type
certification. The VLJ is a small jet approved for
single pilot operations, much lighter than traditional 'bizjets'.
Others in the category include the Eclipse 500, Diamond
D-Jet & Embraer Phenom. Combined orders are said
to be in the thousands.

15-Feb-08 A new resident arrived today in the shape of WACO YMF-5C
G-WOCO.
Despite its classic lines, this aircraft is a year 2000
vintage built by the WACO Classic Aircraft Corp of Battle
Creek, Michigan. The type is based on the 1930s open cockpit
sport trainer.
