Saturday 25th
January 2009 saw the 'Festival Trials' at Cheltenham Racecourse.
Being situated only a few miles west of the course, Gloucestershire
Airport traditionally sees a number of race-related visitors from fixed
wing aircraft to helicopters. Aer Arran ATR-72 EI-REO visited from Dublin with racegoers as did Beech 90 F-HTCR from Paris. The next meet is 'The Festival' in March, which is always Gloucestershire Airport's busiest week of the year. Related links:
